Moynihan Train Hall

The landmarked McKim, Mead & White-designed post office in midtown Manhattan had been a languishing government project for 30 years, a nearly vacant building costing the state $10M in annual operating costs.

From 2012-2016, Skylight transformed the dormant property into the home of New York Fashion Week and one of New York City’s top venues. Generating significant revenue via the most creative, high-profile events with premier cultural brands, we helped shape the future of the neighborhood and promote private sector interest in redevelopment.

“It is not an accident that Nike’s big reveal is being staged in Moynihan Station, an official site of New York Fashion Week [...] Fashion, Nike is coming for you.”
