The Armory by Skylight
Built in 1912 to replace the former outpost of San Francisco’s National Guard, the historic Armory dominates a sizable corner lot in the eclectic and central Mission District.
The Armory is the largest column-free enclosed venue in San Francisco, featuring iconic Moorish architecture, a vaulted 80 foot ceiling, a 40K square foot former drill court and several accessory footprints that can accommodate a variety of experiences. With a dynamic history and identity that includes tactical military instruction and the moniker “Madison Square Garden of the West,” The Armory is an iconic backdrop for captivating experiences and content creation.
