Skylight Modern
With our prior work on the High Line and at Skylight West, we had a unique vantage point into how Manhattan’s West Side was changing. Before Manhattan West and Hudson Yards, prior to phase 2 of the High Line, the neighborhood west of 10th Avenue felt exciting and undiscovered.
"We built a reputation on converting the city’s industrial past into high-end venues – we had a former parking garage, the High Line, a former bank in Brooklyn and a historic post office under our belts, but we were excited to build something new and more turnkey to offer a different type of space to our clients which included rigging points, in-house lighting capabilities, elevators, etc. Moreover, it gave us the chance to exercise our architectural working with James Ramsey of RAAD as our architect. He is the founder of the amazing Lowline project on the Lower East Side. He worked with us to create subtle details that will best showcase our clients’ work."
