Skylight identified the overlooked parking lots, vacant produce stalls, and sky-high garage rooftops as an unparallelled district-wide canvas and repositioned the site to be a premium venue destination through a hyperlocal mix of the LA culture market, attracting some of LA’s top events.

Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience by Netflix + Fever
In the pandemic, Skylight worked with some of the industry’s strongest partners –– Netflix, Fever and Secret Cinema –– to bring a first-of-its-kind event format to ROW DTLA. A socially-distant, fully immersive experience blended a theme park and live performance, allowing fans to “drive-into” the world of Stranger Things.
"Now, fans who visit Skylight ROW DTLA in Los Angeles can actually “drive into” Hawkins, Indiana (where Stranger Things is set) and take a ride to the Starcourt Mall in this incredible, immersive experience.”
TRAVEL + LEISURE
Billie Eilish launched her album "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" in the former produce stalls, transforming each stall into a unique multisensory experience to correspond with each song on her debut album.
